There are two sections to the side menus are the Content Section and the User Section.

Content section lists three options, random article which goes to a random published article, a list of profiles the user is following, and a list of organizations the user is following.

User section pertains to the user side of everything. Each section except "Create Article" will bring the user to the user profile page with that section loaded (i.e. History will load the user profile page with History being initially set). Organizations list show which organizations the user is apart of. Articles list shows all user articles and when clicked on will go to the article editor of it.
